Scribes Season Starts

Season starts for all Scribes teams this weekend!

Training
All training sessions have now been moved to the all-weather field at Trout Lake. The all-weather field is located next to the where the Community Centre once stood @ Victoria Drive & 15th ave.
Senior trainings are on Mondays & Wednesdays at 6.30pm. This week and next week there will be an extra technique training session on Fridays. Backs train at 6pm & Forwards at 7pm. Please make a big effort to attend all training sessions.
Juniors train at 5.30pm on Wednesday evenings.

Seniors
Seniors are playing on Saturday at Gordan Park. Although this is a home game, we have decided to play at Gordon Park this weekend because the Farmers Market is taking place in the parking lot next to Trout Lake rugby field and there will be no parking anywhere near the field. Kick off is at 1pm. All players are asked to be at the field by 11.30am. If anyone is coming by the clubhouse, we will be leaving there by 11am. All supporters and fans welcome! After the game we all will be heading back to our club Lounge (upstairs Grandview Legion, 2205 Commercial Drive @ 6th ave.) for the beverages and post match entertainment.
There’s going to be a game of 10’s against SFU for all the players that don’t get to play in the senior game.
Gordon Park is on 49th between Knight St. and Victoria St. Click here for a map of Gordon Park.

Juniors
Sunday will see the Under 15’s and Under 17’s take on Ridge Meadows at Trout Lake on Sunday 26th. This is the first time in many years that the Scribes will be fielding teams in these age groups. Kick off for the games are at 10.15am and 11.30 respectively. Please come out and support your juniors teams. If anyone is interested in helping out, please meet at the Trout Lake rugby field at 9.45 and let me know that you are interested in helping out this week.

East Side Gents (Over 38s)
The old boys are playing on Sunday at Trout Lake at 1pm.

Registration & Membership Dues are now required from all players. Players dues are $200 and social dues are $40. Please see me or Todd about paying your dues and if you need to use our payment plan option.
