SCRIBES 2ND ANNUAL BOWEN GOLF INVITATIONAL

Sunday, July 29th with noon tee off times
(Sorry but a 100 person tournament doing 18 holes booked the Saturday so we had to move dates)

Cost is $50 per person. You may pay all up front or half down to secure your spot (and help us plan numbers for food & drink) and then pay your green fees at the course if you like. Please let me know if you are coming so I can confirm spots with the golf club ASAP.

We will golf 9 holes using the traditional Texas Scramble format. There will be some food and refreshments for the golf, followed by a BBQ dinner and drinks at the Sheppard Estate on Bowen Island.

The ferry leaves Horseshoe Bay at 10:00 and 11:00 am, and it is another 20 minutes to the golf course. Try to be early if possible, but the 11 o’clock is the last ferry to make tee times, and there is a group following us. We can organise some sort of car pool to get over there amongst ourselves. Ferries return to Vancouver on the hour until 10:00pm.

The Bowen Island Golf Club is a 9-hole, par 35 Russ Olson designed layout. Yardage is approximately 3,000 yards (multiple tee box options) featuring two par 5's, four par 4's, and three par 3's

We had a really good time last year; it was well worth the trip over. Feel free to invite your significant others or friends along this year. Again please commit (with your money) so we can organise the food and spots needed with the golf club.
