The Season

With the relatively mild weather, the Vancouver Rugby and British Columbia Rugby Union play the majority of their games over the fall and winter. The month of April and May is reserved for the playoffs. During the summer months, rugby takes a bit of a hiatus along the Westcoast, though there are a number of tournaments and friendlies to participate in and watch. The Scribes have been involved ina number of tournaments like the infamous Maggot Fest in Montana, Williams Lake tourny, the Simon Fraser University Sevens, and many others. As you can see, any time is a good time to get into the sport of rugby.
