First Look at Women’s Div 2 Schedule

The Scribes Rugby Facebook Group is buzzing with excitement now that we have been given our first look at the Women’s Division 2 schedule for the Spring 2017 season.

The hardest hitting rugby team in East Vancouver begin their seven game regular season campaign on February 4th when they travel to North Vancouver to face Capilano RFC. The team then has a make-up weekend, followed with a bye week, and then finally a home opener on February 25th against Ridge Meadows.

While February might feel a bit slow in developing, one piece of good news is that the bye on February 18th coincides with the Men’s International Test Match between Canada and the USA at Burnaby’s Swangard Stadium.

The month of March will feature road trips to Westshore and Kelowna, in addition to a home game against Comox and a break for the legendary Canada Sevens in Vancouver.

April will see the team host Seattle and then travel to United to wrap up the regular season. Playoffs begin on April 22, with Club Finals taking place in Abbotsford on May 6th.

Kickoff times, locations and venues are subject to change, so keep up to date via the BC Rugby competitions page and our Scribes event calendar.
