Guess who’s back, back again; Scribes are back, tell a friend.

We’re just a couple days away from the start of the 2019 rugby season in British Columbia and our Scribes Women’s and Men’s Team have big aspirations for the season ahead.

The Scribes Women continue to impress in Division 2, having topped the league tables in the fall campaign with a 6-1-1 record. They’ll want to keep up the strong play as they push to repeat as BC Champions in May.

First up on the docket will be the the Vancouver Rowing Club. The Rowers have consistently challenged Scribes in their matches over the course of the last two years, but the ladies in red and white hoops are still looking for their first-ever women’s victory over East Van’s finest rugby club.

The weather is looking favorable for Saturday, and the rugby should be good as well, so gather your friends and family and head downtown to Stanley Park for what promises to be a great start to the rugby season. Kickoff at Brockton Oval is scheduled for 10:00am.

The Scribes Men meanwhile have one more week to prepare for their spring season debut as they get set to host the Surrey Beavers in East Vancouver on February 2nd.
