Men’s Rugby
The Spring season kicks off this Saturday when we host Kelowna. Kick off is at 1pm at Gordon Park. All players are to be at the park by 11.45am. Anyone that needs a lift, meet at the clubhouse at 11am.
We will be hosting at the clubhouse after the game, so could everyone get back to the clubhouse in a timely manner.
There were a number of fines issued last weekend for those that did not turn up the court session. Those who have been fined (and you know who you are) must bring a 6 pack to the game.
Trianing continues every Monday and Wednesday at 6.30pm at Trout Lake all weather field.

Women’s Rugby
The first game is scheduled for February 7th with an away game in Capilano. We are going to have a training session on Saturday morning at 11am at Gordon Park. Please bring your mouth guards. After training we are going to enjoy some beverages and watch the men take on Kelowna.

Mini Rugby
MIni’s Rugby starts up this Sunday Feb 1st at 10am at Trout Lake rugby field. We are still looking more players, if you know of any that is intersted in particpating, please bring thiem along on Sunday. Registration is now open: http://www.scribesrfc.com/dues/

Alumni
We generally only get to see the alumni at Christmas or special events. We understand that ye have moved out to the Valley… So we would like to encourge the alumni to come down to the clubhouse on the first Wednesday of the month. Meet up with the newer players, we want to hear all the stories of how good you used to be. And maybe get some songs going…

Social Events
The clubhouse is open after training every Wednesday after training, immediately after every home game and in the evening of most away games.

Superbowl Sunday is February 1st. This is going to be an action packed day. Start the day off helping out the minis at 10am. Then back to the clubhouse for the Canucks game at 12.30pm and then see if the Seahawks can pull another one out of the bag.

There is a poker tournament planned for February 28th. Save the date as this is an important fundraiser.
