Great win last week against Burnaby RFC (19-0), that was nice payback for last season and it was a great game of rugby to watch, in horrible conditions.
Next up is SFU RFC (yep, the schedule changed again – see the bottom for full schedule), another home game at Trout Lake.
Kick off is at 1pm. Be at the field by 12pm. Bruce needs help to line the field. It’ll take Bruce and 3 volunteers to line it quickly, so please lend a hand.
Showers are in the ice rink changing rooms after the game. Players to use the ice rink enterance. Take off your muddy boots and leave the change rooms as you find them–no empty cans, tape etc.
Please get back to the Lounge afterwards to host SFU. Don’t forget when we host a game you have to chip in for food for yourself and your opposite number.
Sean has organized food for our home games. He’s transporting all the gear to and from the field so it would be helpful if someone would volunteer to pick up the food from the Butler Did It before 4pm. Talk to Sean about this.
Everyone has to pay their dues to play. For the Spring 2014 Season the BCRU will be adopting a zero tolerance policy for non-compliance with the player reporting particulars prescribed by the BCRU game sheets i.e. “non-registered†players.

We’re showing England Vs. Ireland in the 6 Nations tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Starts at 8am, so get in early.
Hockey Gold medal Game: Canada game at 4.30am Sunday morning at the Lounge.
