Message from Minis coaches
Scribes, we need you to please step up and volunteer at least one Sunday with the mini program. It’s growing nicely and the extra hands are needed and welcome. One Sunday before May, 10:00-11:30.
Thanks to ex coach Dave Holmes, Logan, Evan Quin and Tony Beasley for helping out. Please let Coach Aussie Doug know when you’re available.

Men’s
Men’s team plays Kats tomorrow at Balaclava Park at 1pm. They will be hosting our victory at their clubhouse on the corner of 3rd and McDonald after the game. Meet at the field for 12pm or at the Lounge at 11:30. If guys have vehicles, please swing by the lounge to give a lift.
All players need to be paid up to play. If you can’t, talk to Marcus about setting up a payment plan.
Scribes are playing Kelowna away next Saturday. The team could do with getting together and causing a ruckus and our tours have been season highlights in the past so lets get committed to this. Accommodation will be covered for all payed up players.
Accommodation needs to be booked so please put your name down on the Sign Up Sheet
Women’s
Women’s team has a bye this weekend. Training on Monday and Wednesdays, bring a friend to get our numbers back up. We have a big away game in Victoria March 5th, numbers at trainings are key to being prepared. RSVP on the Google Doc if you haven’t already.
Wednesday’s training for both teams is now at Empire Fields from 7.30 – 9pm. Monday’s training is at the all weather field by Trout Lake community centre at 6.30pm.

Mini’s
Hello everyone, I hope you had a good week. Great training last Sunday and some new faces too. This Sunday will be a practice session at Trout lake 10:00. Please remember your mouth-guards, very important. Keep them in your boots and then you won’t forget them. Brings some friends to try it out as it is always free to try.
See you all on Sunday. We now have a rain shelter as well to keep our stuff dry.

Canada 7’s After party
we have arranged an after-party for Saturday and Sunday nights. Tickets for both nights cost $20 which includes drinks specials at each place. Saturday we are going to the Butcher and Bullock & Sunday we are doing a pub crawl starting at the lamplighter from 7 -9, then bar none from 9-11 & New Oxford from 11-2am. All proceeds from the tickets sold goes back to Scribes RFC. We will have 150 tickets for sale early next week.
