Scribes V’s Brit Lions
The parks board have taken down the posts at Gordon Park. However, we have found a field that is open. We are going to play at Brit Lions field in Delta, kick off is at 1pm. We are going to leave from the old clubhouse on Commercial & 14th by 11.30am on Saturday. All players are to be at the field by noon. Location of the field: Ladner Trunk Road at Hwy 91. 6 Nations & St. Paddy’s Day
We will be showing the 6 nations games including England v Ireland in the Lounge after we come back from Delta. We will be having lots of drinks to celebrate Irelands patron saint. Hope to see everyone there for some beverages and songs….
Win / Win Tickets
Have you sold all your rugby win/win tickets? We need to get them all back in for Saturday. Talk to English Stefan if you need any more tickets. The club makes 50% of the proceeds of the sales that you make.
We are playing Kamloops in Kamloops on March 24th. We are planning an overnight trip. Kamloops has even promised us a steak dinner after the game. We need all players to make the trip.
This year we are going to have the Golf Tournament on June 16th in Bellingham. Overnight options available. More details to follow shortly or talk to Tere.
Training continues every Monday and Wednesday at Trout Lake. We will start using the grass field adjacent to the all weather field from Monday night. Bring the appropriate foot ware for both fields.
The Lounge will be open on Wednesday evenings after training. Dinner is available for $5 a plate.
The Rugby Club AGM will be held at the Lounge on April 25th at 9pm. All members are requested to attend.
