Tough loss last week against Burnaby. The game was a shambles: no posts, blind referee, unlimited subs for Burnaby…Scribes played well however.

Brit Lions this weekend- meet at the clubhouse on Commercial & 14th at 11am or at the field at noon. Kick off at John Oliver Park is 1pm.

AGM – the date has been set for Wednesday April 17th at the Lounge. All members are asked to attend. All positions are up for election.

Old Clubhouse Party – As the clubhouse is sold we’re planning on having a big party there…old Scribes, new Scribes and friends only. This will be epic, but will not be a destruction party.

Steve Lamont in Centre

Former Scribe to play against the British & Irish Lions?
Aussie boy Steve Lamont played rugby in Vancouver with the Scribes a couple of years back and he could be playing the Lions this summer:
“Steve is in his third season with Newcastle, the first as skipper. He represented NSW Country last year and has his sights set on the Combined NSW/ Queensland Country team to play the British Lions in June.”

Here’s some info on the summer tournaments and jersies etc:
As you may already know, Oliver has designed some rugby jerseys for the summer tournaments this year, If you would like to purchase the jersey and shorts (with pockets) Marcus am currently collecting a list of names. If you would like the jersey or just the shorts. just sign up. The shorts will be the same as Scribes shorts and will have the logo on it and can be used for next season.
