Men’s team in Semi Finals, Women’s team to wrap up season

Thanks to everyone to made it out to the games last weekend. I think everyone had a very enjoyable day. Special thanks to everyone that helped out on Saturday.  The Men played well and beat the Rowers 19 to 12. The Women had a great game against a mixture of Loma’s division 1 & 2 teams. There was a combined boat race afterwards which saw the Scribes beating Rowers and Lomas.  I think there video footage floating around somewhere of it.

The photographs from the games will be online shortly.

This weekend the Men are through to quarter finals taking on the Brit Lions. Kick off is at 1pm at John Oliver Park in Delta. All players to be at the field by noon. Players to meet at the clubhouse by 11am. We have to go over two bridges to get there, so plan to have extra time if there are delays on the roads. Location of Brit Lions RFC

The women’s team are playing Langley in their last game of the season. Kick off is at 11am in Crush Crescent. We are leaving from the clubhouse at 9am. We are planning to support the Men’s team after our game. The game is made up of 3 x 20 minute periods, so should be finished at 12.15pm Location of Langley RFC’s field

We hope to see our supporters at all games this weekend. Directions from Langley to Brit Lions

Minis are playing in a Jamboree in Burnaby Lake on Sunday.

The clubhouse has been booked for a private party on Saturday so will not be open for use after the game in Delta.
