2012/13 Rugby Season
The new rugby season officially starts on Sept. 15. Scribes are entering one team in the 3rd division. Full schedule to follow soon.

Training
Training is on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6.30pm at the grass rugby field (NE corner of Trout Lake). Make an effort to get out.
As usual the club lounge is open for drinks after training on Wednesdays.

Recruitment
Recruitment: we are actively looking for new players to join the team. Let anyone know that might be interested. All new players welcome.

Pre-season trip/game
We’re looking into a preseason game/overnight trip on Sept 8. Most likely going on Saturday morning, playing a game, and staying the night, and back home Sunday morning. More details on where to follow.

Piss up in a brewery
Next Friday (Aug 31) from 5.30-7pm at 1950 Triumph St…Parallel 49 Brewery…Bruce’s nephew has kindly organized a tour of his shiny new brewery which includes a free beer. There’s a pub on the premises to sample all their brews and they also sell 6 packs & growlers (1.7 liter) to take home.
