Scribes Men at Kamloops

It was a tough week #1 for Scribes, who lost in Langley, and the schedule does not get any easier with this Saturday’s match in Kamloops.

The lads put in a great effort in training this week, but each man for Scribes will be tasked with some heavy lifting because they will almost certainly be outnumbered by a home side that’s able to fully stock a bench of reserve players. Nonetheless, this fixture is always a classic road trip and one that is highly anticipated by the players.

Kick off in Kamloops is scheduled for 12:45pm.

Scribes Women vs Rowers

The opening week saw the Scribes get off to an ideal start to the campaign thanks to a confidence-building win over Langley. Their opponents this Saturday will be the Vancouver Rowing Club, which features a side of talented and hungry players. Though Scribes were able to sweep the season series against Rowers in 2017, the gap between the two teams is narrower than last year’s final scores might suggest, and this Scribes will need to be at their best to come away with the win.

Kickoff at Winona Park is scheduled for 10:00am.
