Scribes welcome their former East Vancouver rivals, Ex-Brittania Lions (now based in Delta), back to the Drive for an intriguing early season matchup.

Scribes (0-2) have struggled out of the gate with a number of injuries, but are looking to fight their way into the win column this Saturday.

Brit Lions (0-1) are also seeking their first win of the fall campaign, having dropped their season debut 31-27 against Bayside.

Scribes (2-0) have out-scored opponents by a combined tally of 74-14 through two games, but they are not expecting their opponents this weekend to be intimidated by prior results. In fact, Brit Lions (2-0) are coming off an impressive 17-7 victory over Capilano.

There’s good chance that the winner of this match will be find themselves at the top of the tables through three weeks of play, so there’s plenty at stake in this one.

The first mini rugby jamboree takes place this Sunday morning. This is a big event, and a major driver of the mini rugby experience with Scribes, so all Men’s and Women’s players who are able to help should do so.
