We had a great win against Richmond RFC last week, winning 52-0. It was a great team performance and we had a few debut scorers shoot the boot.
Next up is an away game on Saturday (Sept. 27) against Chilliwack RFC.
Be at the Lounge (corner of 6th & Commercial) by 10.30am. We seem to be struggling for rides this season and we need as many cars as possible so drivers come by and fill your car. Game starts at 1pm.

Sunday, September 28th is the first Jamboree of the season. This is where all the mini teams meet up to compete against each other in a game style environment. The tournament will be at the Capilano RFC’s home field which is Klahanie park in North Van. Kick off is scheduled for 10:00 so we need to meet at 09:45 to organize and stretch. I will try to attach a map link at the end of the email.
As this is our first year organizing and the numbers aren’t up yet we will be joining other teams who are down players and playing along with their clubs. We will hopefully try to have as many SCRIBES in similar age play with the same club. The Jamborees usually go till 11:30.
All players 5 years and older are eligible to compete if registration is done. I will also add this link in the bottom of the email. If your child is under 5 years we encourage you to still come out and cheer on your fellow SCRIBES. If you were going to bring a friend to training this weekend be sure to let them know that we will be at Klahanie and not Trout Lake.

Anyone got free time during the day to coach Windermere rugby team? It’s the juniors so they actually listen to you and put in the effort. Games are Mondays and Wednesday at 3.45. Training is any other day(s) around similar time. Talk to Gavin Maguire if interested.
