Capilano v Scribes RFC
Well done to the entire squad for the 17 to 11 win over Capilano last weekend. The conditions were less than ideal but the defensive play was outstanding. Capilano had us pinned on our line on more than one occassion and through great team work we pushed them back into their own half. Tries were scored by Brian and Nipples. Nipples converted both tries and got one penalty.

Ridge Meadows v Scribes
This weekend we are traveling to Ridge Meadows. The game kicks off at 1pm, all players are asked to be at the field by noon. Everyone that has a car and is able to drive to Maple Ridge, please come by the Lounge to pick up players–we will be leaving the Lounge at 11am sharp. International Rugby – Canada v Argentina – October 19th
We are planning a trip to Victoria on Oct 19th to watch USA v Uruguay & Canada v Argentina. We have organized a bus to transport us from the ferry to the game, from the game to the hotel and back to ferry on Sunday. It will be a good weekend, great rugby, and it is open to everyone that is interested in traveling. Sign up here: Sign up sheet. The entire cost will be about $105.

The Lounge has been renovated recently. We would like to see more Scribes are the Lounge more frequently. The Lounge is open after trainings on Wednesdays and on Saturdays after games, even away games.
Club Attire. The new golf shirts are now in, we also have toque, socks, shorts and t-shirts available for sale at the Lounge.

Training continues every Monday and Wednesday at Trout Lake all Weather field from 6.30pm to 8pm. Could everyone make a big effort to get to both training sessions.
