Change in Schedule next weekend
The VRU has changed our scheduled game for next weekend, instead of playing Bayside we are going to travel to Kelowna. You may have heard that Kelowna dropped out of Tier II division (where they had two teams) and now have only 1 team so have been placed in Division III.
We should get a good competitive game with Kelowna on Saturday. The last time we played them, they hosted really well.

We will meet up on Monday to discuss who would like to stay over in Kelowna and a have night out up there.

Training

Monday training Changed to 5.30pm
On Monday next week, because Thanksgiving, we are going to have training at 5.30pm at the Trout Lake rugby field. Wednesday it will return to the normal time of 6.30pm to 8pm at the all weather field at Trout Lake, next to the community centre.
We need everyone to show up to training on both days next week. We are going to have a really tough fixture against Kelowna at the weekend.

Canada v’s Argentina
We are organizing a trip ot Victoria to watch Canada v’s Argentina & USA v’s Uruguay on October 20th.
The plan is:
Play Brit Lions in Delta at 11.30am, Get Ferry to Victoria at 3pm, walk on. Get a charter bus to the game in Langford, Bus to bring us to hotel in downtown Victoria, Go on the piss. Bus to pick us up on Sunday & bring us back to Ferry.
The estimated cost is about $120 depending on the numbers travelling. Could anyone that is interested in going, please give Ed or Marcus a $100 deposit by Wednesday Oct 10th, so that we can book the tickets for the game, hotel, bus and ferries.
