At half time on wet day in Chilliwack it was still nil all. But after a well worked try from Devan & a penalty from Aiden we managed to win 10-0. This win has moved us up into the top half of the table. Another win this weekend would put us into prime position for the playoffs.

We are hosting Kamloops tomorrow at Trout Lake. Kick off is at 1pm. All players are to be at the field by noon. The farmers market is supposed to be finished now, so there should be plenty of parking available.

As usual the Club will be open after the game as we will be hosting Kamloops for food and beverages.

We have invited Kamloops to play a “4th division” game, but they haven’t confirmed if they will enough players yet. This game would be a friendly game for rookies, older guys and anyone else. Every week we have invited the other clubs to play a “4th division” game. Although, other clubs have said they would be interested in this game, they haven’t been able to field a second team. We expect that this will get more momentum in the Spring.

Training

Training continues every Monday & Wednesday at 6.30pm at Trout Lake all weather field. If you cannot make it to training for some reason, please let Marcus or Doug know. You will be able to find their numbers of the phone tree – (Contact list code: chek email footer)

Halloween Party

There is a Halloween costume party on in the club lounge on Saturday evening. Oli has lined up some live music and there will be prizes for the best costume. All welcome. Kicks off at about 8pm.
