Scribes Men vs Kelowna Crows
November 3, 2018Â
Gordon Park, kickoff at 11:15am
Scribes played brilliantly in the final 10 minutes of their game last Saturday at Burnaby Lake, and it should give them some momentum to build upon as they head into this contest.
Scribes have struggled to get early points on the board this season, so the first marker of the game will be telling. Both Scribes and the Crows share 1-4 records, and this will be Kelowna’s first away-game of the season. This writer is giving Scribes the edge at home, in what should be a very evenly contested and entertaining match up.
Scribes Women vs Kelowna Crows
November 3, 2018Â
Gordon Park, kickoff at 12:45pm
Scribes Women are coming off a disappointing loss at Capilano last week, and the team is determined to get back into the win column.
Kelowna have been able to put up points with the best of them, but have been prone to defensive lapses. Scribes will look to put the pressure on early and make Kelowna chase the game.
Scribes’ roster depth should prove a decisive factor in this game. They will be close to full strength, minus prop Amber Parker who recovering from hand surgery. Erica Tetzel will start in the front row alongside Jodi Pongratz and Reba Rowe. The balance of the lineup includes a lot of talent and experience, with a strong group of a half dozen players eager to come off the bench and make a difference.
