After our 27-0 win against Surrey last week, the Scribes senior team has a bye weekend this week. In spite of the bye, there is still plenty rugby action going on in the club.

On Sunday the U17’s are hosting Burnaby Lake at Gordan Park kick off is at 11.15am. All U17 players need to be at the field by 10am.

The Senior team has a training session for after the junior game. All seniors are asked to come out and support the junior team. Could anyone that is interested in helping out, with the set up of the field please meet at the clubhouse at 14th at 9.45am. There is always plenty to do at game time and helping out with serving food for the players after the game.

The East Side Gents are hosting Seattle at Gordon Park at 1pm. Anyone that is interested in playing please be at the field by 12.30pm or come by for senior training.

The club Lounge (Commercial & 6th) will be open after the Over 40’s (ish) game. We hope to see as many members out as possible and make Sunday into a great club day! Rumour has it that the Scribes was first formed on a November 14th. The VRU, under Ben McAfee, made November 14th official Scribes RFC club day.
