The season is officially over after our playoffs semi-final loss to the Kats. The game was very tight–it was 7-6 right up until the 55th minute, however the Kats piled on the pressure and we ended up losing 20-6. Overall it was a great season and we can build on it in the new year.

Touch rugby is still happening on Wednesdays and the Lounge is open 7.30/8 til late on Wednesday evenings.

Despite the rugby season being over until the Spring, there are lots of events happening, starting early tomorrow:

Saturday 23rd Nov. (tomorrow)
International Rugby at the Lounge on Saturday Morning:

At 10am the kilt-wearing cross dressers of Scotland take on the convict thugs of Australia.
At 12pm the frogs legs-eating, garlic-wearing, surrender monkies of France take on South Africa.

Moustache-Clevage Party
At 7.30pm tomorrow (23rd) the Lounge is hosting the first annual Moustache-Clevage Party. There will be a DJ and prizes for best dressed etc. Celebrate the end of the season in style.

Saturday, 30 Nov.
Scribes Annual Pub Crawl.
This will be around the gastown area. Santa hats are mandatory. Ugly sweaters are recommended.

There are a few boys leaving over the next few weeks so try to make the social events and give them a good send off. Aussie John has already gone, Josh, Stef and Daniel are all going back to their homelands soon.
